“Crystal Array”

Crystal Array was inspired by a grouping of quartz crystal clusters I found hiking in Ouray, Colorado.

I began by shaping large steel tubing into six sided shapes similar to the forms of quartz crystals.

The crystal clusters were wire wrapped into these forms. I love the cast shadows that change throughout the day.
