“Spiral” Woven Steel Bowl

Spiral was created by weaving a hard steel wire between a forged steel frame using a torch and hammer. The steel wire is historic electrical transmission line from Dewey, Arizona. The wire is copper clad steel which allowed me to create a warm traditional copper patina to compliment the form.
